JSAUX announce their new Steam Deck Dock with an M.2 SSD slot

Need more storage space for your Steam Deck when docked up to a TV or monitor? JSAUX have returned with their next-generation Steam Deck Dock and it sounds pretty interesting.

I’ve been thoroughly impressed with their first two models, as I continue using the upgraded version of the original all the time. It works great but they clearly wanted to push the boat out with this one. With a whole new design that incorporates a M.2 SSD, you’re not going to run out of space any time soon when using it.

From the press release it launches on September 7 at 7AM PST / 2PM UTC and will have a $99 early-bird price for the first 100 orders, the normal price will be $129. So this is clearly a lot more of a premium option compared to their first attempts. They will also be offering the M.2 Dock with a couple different SSDs bundled at various prices.

Steam Deck Repair:
Steam Deck repair centers are now online!
We are happy to announce today that our new Steam Deck repair centers are now open. If you encounter an issue and need to send your Steam Deck for repair or replacement, devices will now go to one of our repair centers. Once there, our team will diagnose the device, repair if needed, then ship the fixed unit back to you.

Repairs for issues covered by warranty are free of charge. If a Steam Deck comes in that is not covered by warranty, our team will reach out and offer to repair the device for a fee (if a repair is possible). This out-of-warranty repair service is completely optional, and you can ask for your device back if you prefer.

And of course, if you prefer to fix things yourself – repair kits, replacement parts, and guides are all available at iFixit.

Here are a couple scenarios that these repair centers will cover:
If your unit begins to develop an intermittent button input issue (rare, but it sometimes happens), contact support, who will help get your Steam Deck shipped to one of our repair centers. Our team will diagnose it, replace the button, test and calibrate the unit, then send the fixed unit back to you, free of charge – as this is covered by warranty.
If your dog gnaws on your thumbstick and breaks it, this is not covered by warranty. Previously your only option was DIY repair, but now you’ll now be able to contact support, who will supply instructions to ship your Steam Deck to one of our repair centers. Our team will take a look and offer to replace and calibrate your thumbstick for a fee. This process will also be available once your warranty expires.

We’re glad to get this service up and running – most folks won’t ever need to use it, but for those of you that do, we want to make sure you’re taken care of.
