🛠️ NOTES: Crimson Desert FSR4 shown in the video also works on higher end devices and other operating systems such as Bazzite and CachyOS, not just the Steam Deck/SteamOS.

Crimson Desert contains a hidden graphics preset called ‘Minimum’ which must be unlocked using SteamDeck=0 %command%

However, when unlocked, the game can default to 4K resolution, so this needs to be changed quickly to avoid the game crashing.

Overall, there is not much difference between Minimum and Low in terms of performance, and the game still struggles to reach 30FPS in the majority of scenarios.

FSR 4 through Optiscaler will not work with Crimson Desert. Instead, we need to overwrite the existing FSR 3.1 file with the FSR 4 file. Guide timestamped in the video and file linked below.
