NOTES: Death Stranding 2 is now Steam Deck Verified as of April 9, 2026. Performance has improved a fair bit since launch, although we still need to use ‘Performance’ upscaling with PICO, FSR, or XeSS to stay as close to 30FPS as possible, but the game will still dip down to 15-20FPS in demanding sections.

Hopefully more optimisations are still on the way, but it’s great to see Nixxes now meeting the “Verified criteria” for “Input, Display, Seamlessness, and System Support”.
