Steam Deck – 2.5 Year Check in

OS is the best its ever been

Every feature people mod in themselves that they actually use has gotten added

Valve could be better about upkeep on other features like the intro movies, keyboards, profiles, etc

It would be cool if they added in themes since that’s a feature that’s available through modding

It would also be cool if they built in native support for SteamGridDB

Would also be cool to have the Deck Dock get a GPU upgrade that could push the current Steam Deck’s Performance a bit farther

Deck Dock as a whole needs work. For how expensive it is, it just isn’t good enough

SteamOS 3.0 needs to come out for all PC’s, not just boutique handhelds like the ROG Ally

Valve needs to step in and fix the launcher situation

It would be cool if they could work with Microsoft to make the Game Pass app work but at the very least work with them to implement full cross save between Steam and Xbox

A Steam Deck Lite like the Switch Lite with no trackpads, a smaller OLED screen and the same battery life would be really cool

Valve needs to get to work on games tailored to the Deck

Valve games have pull, even a big update for Left 4 Dead 2 to modernize graphics would be great
