Handheld Game Test SteamOS 3.6.24 – 10th May 2025

NOTES – This is my own personal copy of Call of Duty installed on Windows and backed up to my Steam Deck, the instructions provided should work for the Steam version too.

– Change controls to Keyboard & Mouse and configure them to your preference, this takes around 5 minutes and is easy to achieve by ourselves.

– Proton 5 is required to run the game and we need to rename CODSP.exe to mohaa.exe

– Afterwards, we need to enter the following launch command and lock our FPS to 60.

PROTON_OLD_GL_STRING=1 %command% +set r_customwidth 1280 +set r_customheight 800 +set r_customaspect 1.6
