NOTES: In regards to the original six games, which have standalone releases on Steam, these are all a mess and require patches, fixes, and older Proton versions to get working. Honestly, they just aren’t worth the hassle when we now have all six classic games remastered across every platform, with seamless switching at the press of a button. My advice is to buy the remasters, which are very cheap on key reseller sites and also during Steam sales.
