Check out the new Steam Deck patch notes from September 9th! This latest update from Valve feels like one of those classic patches with a ton of new features and fixes. I’ve broken down four of the most exciting changes that are going to improve your gaming experience on the Steam Deck and Lenovo Legion Go.

Finally! The Library Sorting Fix: Valve has finally fixed one of the most annoying bugs when sorting your Steam library. Now, adding games to a custom list, like a “kids safe” list with all the LEGO games, won’t boot you back to the top of the list every single time.

Massive Startup Performance Improvement: If you’re a gamer with a large library of non-Steam games from launchers like Epic Games, Battle.net, or using emulators like RetroDeck and EmuDeck, you’ll be happy to know that startup performance has been significantly improved.

Custom Sort Titles: This new feature lets you rename games in your library for better organization. For example, you can sort all your Zelda games or a series of titles to appear in the correct numerical order, making it easier to find and play your favorite games.

Joystick LED Controls: This one is a surprise! Valve has added LED controls for joysticks, which is a big deal for Lenovo Legion Go users since their device has integrated LED lighting around the thumb sticks.
