Assassin’s Creed Valhalla – Steam Deck Benchmark and Gameplay

In this video we are taking a look at Assassin’s Creed Valhalla on the Steam Deck. I’ve tested all the graphical presets with the built in benchmark, which you can find in the second half of the video. The game runs overall very nice, considering it’s quite new and heavy. I was able to get a consistent 45 FPS after tweaking the graphics and playing with the built in FSR.

This is on SteamOS, this is the Steam Store version. The benchmark says Windows 10, but that’s what Proton does, makes the game believe it is ran on Windows 10.

If you are not after 60 fps, you can reduce the refresh rate to 40HZ and it’s still quite an enjoyable experience, and can last you for about 3 hours on the Steam Deck’s battery.
