Can the Steam Deck Run Counter-Strike 2?

Today we are testing Counter-Strike 2 on the Steam Deck. The Steam Deck is running on SteamOS 3.5. CS2 just came out after a long beta period and today we are checking if it’s playable on the Steam Deck at all.

As you will see in the video I struggle to stay at 60 FPS locked and it’s not really a pleasant experience. There also seems to be some input lag with the keyboard and mouse I’ve got plugged into my Steam Deck Dock. The game runs somewhat better if you launch it through vulkan by typing -vulkan in launch commands, but I would still not recommend trying to play competitive or premier on the Steam Deck.
