Can the Steam Deck run Assassin’s Creed Mirage?

Today we are checking out Assassin’s Creed Mirage on the Steam Deck. The game runs fairly heavy on the Deck with a lot of stuttering and barely hitting 40 FPS in high intensity scenes. It runs a bit worse than AC: Valhalla which is strange as it uses mostly assets from that game. In high density areas the FPS can dip below 25.

On the lowest settings you can expect FPS between 30 and 45 and playing at 30 capped can be a good experience, but there’s still stutters. Perhaps those will be fixed with upcoming patches.

The game was tested on SteamOS 3.5 and is installed through Ubisoft Connect.
