Can the Steam Deck Run Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order?

In this video we are taking a look at Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order on the Steam Deck. The Deck is running on SteamOS 3.5.Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order is a 2019 action-adventure game developed by Respawn Entertainment and published by Electronic Arts. The story is set in the Star Wars universe, five years after Star Wars: Episode III – Revenge of the Sith. It follows Jedi Padawan Cal Kestis, who becomes a target of the Galactic Empire and is hunted throughout the galaxy by the Imperial Inquisitors while attempting to complete his training, reconcile with his troubled past, and rebuild the fallen Jedi Order. The game is the first installment in the series.

The game requires you to install the EA App, however It doesn’t require you to log in into any EA Account and it’s honestly not an issue at all.

Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order doesn’t quite hit that smooth 60 FPS target on the Steam Deck, however at Medium settings and with Dynamic resolution on the gameplay is fairly smooth and often between 45 and 55 FPS. The game doesn’t give you a lot of graphical options to mess around with. I tested it on Medium(which is the lowest for this game) and on High settings and the game performs about 5-10 FPS lower on High. In my opinion this game is best enjoyed on the Lowest settings with a 40HZ lock for smoothest experience and no stuttering.
