How to unlock 60 FPS in Need For Speed Rivals on the Steam Deck

Check out my latest video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eiKoBDAAmVU In this video we are taking a look at Need For Speed Rivals (2013) on the Steam Deck. The game is locked to 30 FPS by default, but this can be unlocked by typing the following command in launch options:

-GameTime.MaxSimFps 60 -GameTime.ForceSimRate 60.0

The game runs flawlessly at 60 FPS on the Maximum settings. We can even limit TDP to 12W to further increase battery life and it’s still a pleasant experience at 60 FPS.

The game requires internet to start, but doesn’t require it to play so you can disable Wi-Fi after starting it.
