Steam Next Fest is here, and I’m testing Chains of Freedom on the Steam Deck OLED! This tactical RPG offers deep strategic gameplay and a unique narrative approach. Performance-wise, it runs at 45-50 FPS on default settings for 2 hours and 45 minutes. If you cap it to 30 FPS, you can push battery life to 6 hours on low settings or 4 hours on max settings.
