Steam Deck – NTSync vs Fsync in Splinter Cell Conviction

Today we’re testing NTSync vs Fsync on the Steam Deck using Splinter Cell Conviction. NTSync is a new synchronization driver added to the Linux kernel that aims to improve how Windows games handle CPU thread synchronization when running through Proton. In theory, this can reduce CPU bottlenecks and improve performance in certain titles.
