How to Back Up & Migrate Your EmuDeck Setup on Steam Deck

Backing up your EmuDeck setup isn’t nearly as scary as it sounds- Especially if you’re doing a factory reset, swapping SD cards, or migrating everything to new storage. So today I’m walking through how I backed up (and restored) my entire EmuDeck setup on Steam Deck, including ROMs, artwork, save states, BIOS files, and front-end configuration MOSTLY without a hitch.

I also tested EmuDeck’s migration tool for the first time to see how seamless it actually is and spoiler alert? It worked even better than I expected!
